Stepped Layout In Access Courtyard Of Quiet Home In Södermalm

This impressive residence is located in Södermalm, in Styria, Styria, in a quiet residential area with 240 feet over the sea. It was designed in 2007 by Peter Zaytsev – architect at architectural studio Vaze Terranen. Siting on a 590 square feet plot this stunning house is situated on the top of a hill and offers magnificent panoramic views over the valley and the surrounding cliffs. The beautiful courtyard architecture allows it to be magnified and reflected in the interior design.

The residence has a secret very simple structure. The building lays cut in two perpendicular horizontal lines that make it look as though it’s “wrapped in space.”. As for the interior’s color palette, it’s a combination of black and white that gives the décor a warm feeling. The walls and ceiling and part of the outdoor terrace and part of the interior terrace enclose the three zones in order to create the illusion of a larger space. The large windows allow plenty of natural light to get inside and also make the rooms look bright and airy.

The large and open spaces would sound incredible if there were no walls and no divisions between the spaces. This is a concept that anyone can understand and even climb in order to make the difference between styles and spaces.{found on skeppsholmen}.
