These are the three tooth design apartments that Hidenori Tsuboi Architects renovated in Tokyo, Japan. They use this cantilever to ascend and descends vertically the apartment. At night, when all three sides are lit, the apartment looks like this; they’re lit using floor and ceiling LEDs.
The construction was a collaboration between Hidenori Tsuboi Architects, Kenta-isa Seto-Sugi and another Hidenori Tsuboi Architects team. The client requested a three-storey apartment that would also have enough space for a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a deck. In order to fulfill this request, the architects chose to use the stairwell on the upper floor.
The interior is beautiful in design, and gives the apartment a contemporary feel. The three-storey apartment has three bedrooms, a bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony. When building the structure, the architects integrated a cross-laminated timberwood trellis into the design, which lights up the whole home.
The interior décor is very fashionable and elegant, but it also has a natural feel. The walls are white, the chairs pale. Moreover, the rooms are filled with natural light. A splash of color brings everything together, creating a bright but also open interior.
