Most modern houses are designed to embrace the surroundings and the surroundings are one of the most important features. This means that once you’ve got a house placed in a place like that you have to take into consideration a lot of details and to try to link it to the surroundings. An architect can use a lot of that tips and little tricks and so makes a great contribution, especially in landscape and anything else. Here are a few examples of modern house designs.
This lovely house is located on the Catalan coast and it was a project by architect Luis Casín de Coló and Mariana Pizarro from CAZstudio. It’s made of white fiberglass panels and it was built in just three months. The design is very simple, with smooth out angles and straight edges. The biggest challenge for the architects was to join two houses and to make them two different structures. They wanted to be able to easily integrate them both into the same structure.
One of the homes was built using more traditional techniques and materials and the second one was demolished and abandoned. The interior is very beautiful, featuring a minimalist décor. The color palette includes neutrals as well as simple and modern colors. The color palette is quite interesting as well. The living room features gray walls. The same colors appears throughout the homes. The gray walls create a strong and elegant impression and they also help create a nice atmosphere. The dining room is dark gray. The living room is connected to the kitchen and to a space decorated with blue and yellow shades. These three colors have been used separately but when combined they also create a beautiful image.
