Minimalist designs are usually difficult to achieve, mostly because we all know exactly what we like. It’s why we have to get to know each other and to try to learn new things from each other. So a kitchen is usually very simple, with only one or two pieces of furniture to be solved, to be replaced with something more practical and functional. It’s the first impression that you make when you imagine a kitchen. It needs to be modern, airy, cozy and easy to maintain. It needs to look inviting.
Minimalism is best used in small rooms. They are, of course, the most common ones. The kitchens are often directly linked to the living room. So you could have a bar, a kitchen island that extends into dining room, a countertop, etc. Another possibility can be to use minimalist designs in combos which replace the typical built-in appliances such as boilers or dish racks. Or you could keep the kitchen and use the dining room as a small living room. There are lots of ways in which you can integrate a minimalist kitchen into a larger open plan space.
